Hiatus Wellness – Membership Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Hiatus Wellness! Our goal is to create a space where you can rest, recover, and feel your best. These Membership Terms help make sure all members enjoy a smooth and positive experience.
By joining Hiatus Wellness, you become a “member” and agree to the terms below.
1. Membership Access
Your membership begins on the start date listed in your agreement. Depending on your membership type, you’ll enjoy unlimited access to our facilities and services. Memberships are for personal use only and can’t be transferred to another person without approval from Hiatus Wellness.
2. Payments
We use a trusted external provider, Stripe to process weekly direct debit payments.
If a payment is declined, the outstanding amount plus any reasonable admin fees will be added to your next debit. (Your bank may also apply its own fees.)
Please make sure your billing details are correct.
All sales are final and non-refundable.
3. Membership Term
All memberships have a minimum 14 day commitment and are paid weekly.
4. Cancelling Your Membership
You may cancel your membership at any time with 14 days’ written notice - to admin@hiatuswellness.com.au, aligned with your regular billing cycle. Cancellations will not be processed via verbal intention or via social media.
Any payments due during the notice period still apply and will be processed as normal.
If your account is on hold at the time of cancellation, it will return to full membership fees during the notice period.
Hiatus Wellness also reserves the right to cancel memberships at its discretion.
5. Membership Hold
You may pause your membership for up to 4 weeks per calendar year.
Please provide 7 days’ written notice, including your start and return dates.
Holds align with your payment cycle, which may not match your exact travel dates.
Your payments will automatically resume at the end of your hold period. If your return date lands mid-billing cycle, a partial payment may apply.
6. Member Conduct
Please treat fellow members, staff, and our space with respect.
Follow all facility guidelines, safety instructions, and any policies posted on-site or on our website.
We’re here to help you enjoy your experience — kindness and mindfulness go a long way.
7. Indemnity
By becoming a member, you agree that Hiatus Wellness and its team are not responsible for any injuries, illnesses (including COVID-19 or other communicable diseases), or damages that may occur while you use our facilities.
If Hiatus Wellness is found to be partly responsible due to negligence, your indemnity will apply only to the portion not caused by us.
8. Media Release
We love celebrating our community!
By joining, you give us permission to use photos, videos, or audio of you taken in our space or shared with us online for marketing and promotional purposes.
This permission is worldwide and permanent — but if you ever want us to stop using a particular image of you, just let us know and we’ll take care of it.
9. Health & Safety (Communicable Disease & Other Illnesses)
Each time you visit, you confirm that you’re feeling well and not knowingly at risk of spreading illness.
If you have symptoms of a communicable disease, please stay home and seek medical advice before returning.
You agree to follow any health and safety guidelines we put in place, including hygiene practices or temporary protective measures.
We’re committed to keeping our space safe, calm, and supportive for everyone — thanks for doing your part.
